She has dated pop teen Aaron Carter and That 70's Show star, Wilmer Valderrama. When she's not working, she likes to do gymnastics, swimming, roller blading, reading, and playing with her younger siblings. Lindsay has her own charity organization called Dreams Come True. Also, there has been a rumor that Hilary Duff and her mommy tried to get Lindsay kicked out of a movie preimere.

One day, when Aaron Carter was still Lindsay's boyfriend, she was going to take some pictures with him but she had to go somewhere. And Hilary Duff popped up and asked Aaron Carter if she could take Lindsay's place and take pictures with her instead. He agreed so they took pictures together at the studio. Then, Lindsay came back seeing them kissing in one of the poses they did. Lindsay got very jealous of the sight she saw so she broke up with Aaron Carter. And so did Hilary. And now, Aaron's a loner!
